The Fund Structure
The Claim To Fame Model
Claim To Fame Racing Fund I provides investors with an ownership interest in the Fund, which acquires and controls racehorses through purchase and leasing arrangements. With a minimum investment of one thousand dollars per unit, the Fund offers accessible entry into Thoroughbred racing while delivering a structured experience based on each investor’s level of involvement. Claim To Fame Racing, acting as the Manager, oversees all horse selection, leasing or purchasing, training, and racing operations. Investors participate in purse earnings and other Fund distributions on a pro rata basis across all horses in the program. The Fund operates on a twelve month term, with a possible short extension if needed to complete the racing plan. At the end of the term, capital, earnings, and any applicable proceeds are distributed pro rata. The mission is simple: manage the program responsibly, create opportunities for strong performance, and deliver an authentic ownership experience that brings investors closer to the sport.
Transparency & Communication
Claim To Fame Racing Fund I is built on open communication, clear reporting, and honest dialogue with investors at every stage of the season. Participants receive regular updates on horse performance, training progress, upcoming racing plans, and key decisions that affect the direction of the Fund. Financial activity is carefully tracked and summarized so investors can understand how capital is being used, how expenses are managed, and how results are being generated over time. The goal is to create a program where investors always know what is happening, why decisions are being made, and how the overall racing plan is progressing from start to finish, creating confidence, trust, and long term relationships.
